In a small, traditional building, Cabezabellosa pays homage to its past and its people – men and women who made a living from goat herding and various related activities. An unusual feature of the building is its broom thatched roof which recreates that of the traditional old stone huts.

The centre has two floors. On the ground floor, it offers an educational display of the world of goat herding – the goatherds, the goats, their products, and the history and culture. The upper floor simulates an old stone hut with a traditional interior where we can learn more about the goatherds’ way of life.
