Chapel of San Antonio

On the eastern side of Cabezabellosa, the chapel of San Antonio was originally on the outskirts of the village but nowadays is within it. It most likely dates from the 18th century and is a granite masonry construction with ashlar used for some features. Worthy of attention are its attractive surroundings and the beautiful porch covered by a wooden structure, below which there is an intricately carved bench.

It has a square floor plan with a hipped roof and the entrance, below the porch roof, is formed by a large lintelled arch. This leads into a simple interior dominated by an image of San Antón. A beautiful wooden structure covers the space.
